The term "blighted ovum" is the wrong word to use in a disappointing situation like this -- i'd prefer the term "anembryonic pregnancy", because it reminds you that nothing magical happened, and that you can go on to be a mother. The placenta formed well & you were spared from baby having a terrible birth defect. I wish you comfort.
