A member asked:

Is it normal to feel faint after yelling? felt like i might pass out. happened a few times at a baseball game. i rarely yell so haven't reproduced it

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaso vagal episode: Yes it can be normal and is caused by what is called Vaso Vagal attack . As you yell hard it stimulates the Vagus nerve which causes slowing of heart rate and dilatation of the blood vessels and fall in BP which may make you pass out momentarily or make you dizzy. But since it has happened several times I will suggest you get yourself checked by your Doctor if there is anything else going on.
