Lamictal's not working. what is a good medication for bipolar? i am very manic.

See below: You should see your psychiatrist soon and discuss your response to the med. You may need an atypical antipsychotic like Seroquel (quetiapine) or Zyprexa for more rapid stabilization of mania. Lamictal is not as good for mania. It is more effective for bipolar depression. Your dr. may want to consider Depakote or Lithium w/ the antipsychotic.
