Balance: i personally like to balance carbs with protein. If I have a carb-heavy breakfast like toast, I am hungry 2 hours later. I make sure I have protein, like a hard boiled egg or Greek yogurt, to help get through the morning. I may also have apple slices with almond or peanut butter as a mid-morning snack. Smoothies are also a great option to get a little bit of veggies, like kale or spinach
