Yes: You have to have regular periods to ovulate. In amenorrhea you do not have periods so you can not become pregnant.

They are related: Amenorrhea is frequently caused by anovulation (not producing an egg each month). Anovulation causes both amenorrhea and infertility. Best wishes!
