Yes: I recommend everyone take 500-2000 mg of Vit C twice a day and if you have an acid problem it's wise to take a buffered form like calcium ascorbate. You should not have any difficulty tolerating this. If by "acid problem" you mean tendency to heartburn please see http://tinyurl.com/p88fxjm for great advice on approaches to curing it.
