C. Difficile colitis: C. difficile colitis often presents with bloody stools, although it might be slightly more frequent to see just frequent diarrhea which is not bloody. Either pattern as possible. Be sure that she finishes whatever antibiotic treatment she is given for this infection. It can be quite serious if not treated properly. Good luck.
