Not 100%: There are many ways that birth control pills work and less frequent ovulation is just one way. Occasional ovulation does still occur. However, the most frequent reason women get pregnant on the pill is because no on is perfect and everyone forgets a pill, takes a pill late, vomits after taking a pill or takes a medicine that interferes with the pill at some time. For most of us these all happen.
