Low back pain: Low back pain is common and generally not worrisome. Pain that happens with change is positions is mechanical and may be muscular, disc, or even the joints. The sacroiliac joints connect the back and hips, and are often pain generators. Keep active, keep muscles in shape, and see a spine specialist if you have numbness or weakness, loss of bowel or bladder control, fevers, or worsening pain.
