What is the best way to fix brittle teeth?

Depends: Are they "brittle" (weak) because they have been filled multiple times, or are extensively worn down due to teeth clenching/grinding, or are cracked due to hard food diet, or broken from a traumatic injury or have large fillings? Then full coverage crowns (caps) made from zirconia, porcelain or porcelain fused to metal.
