Antipsychotics: Please tell your psychiatrist that you feel your medicines are no longer working! doses can be adjusted, medicines can be changed -- or additional treatments can be added so that you get the benefit and freedom from psychotic symptoms that you need. Sometimes they also stop working when the patient is no longer taking them, though -- also when using other drugs like alcohol, meth, & marijuana.
