Discuss with your MD: You should establish with a good health care professional such as a Family Practitioner or Internist who can take a detailed history and evaluate the discomfort you are experiencing. If it is GERD then a period of treatment will resolve the issue. If you are treated for GERD and it doesn't go away then other potential diagnoses should be explored.
