As your Surgeon...: Every surgeon has his/her own preferences about activity after a c/section. Its best to ask yours this question. In general, you can have a shower after 24 hours have passed. You can take a bath in a few days. Sex and tampons are usually ok after 3-4 weeks. The discharge starts red, goes yellow, white and clear. It usually lasts 4-6 weeks. Best wishes!
