Normal: Angie, The sensation of the baby dropping is not unusual for a 2nd pregnancy. However, if you note any abdominal tightening/cramping, change in discharge, bleeding/spotting or leakage, please get immediate attention. The main concern would be for preterm labor, but this is unlikely if your first pregnancy progressed to term without problems. Hope that helps, Dr. S.
