Yes: Latuda (lurasidone) is FDA approved for bipolar depression but can help stabilize mood and behaviors which lead to aggressive behaviors in people with bipolar disorder.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
Dr. Heidi Fowler
Psychiatry 26 years experience
Latuda (lurasidone): I would not select latuda if the only issue was aggressive behavior. However, if agitation/ aggression is related to a psychotic disorder or bipolar depression - than the Latuda may be helpful. However, be aware that agitation is a side effect in 1% to 10% of people using Latuda.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
