Abd pain: Over the computer this is tough to say what is wrong. It could be a severe case of simple IBS-d to something more serious such as an infection, overt diverticulitis, referred pain from an inflamed appendix, etc. The best advice is that with any "severe" pain, you need to be seen emergently. Go to the nearest urgicare or emergency room if you are having severe pains. Best wishes.

Hi. I have a sharp pain in my abdominal area on my right side, close to my belly button. It seems to feel worse if I eat or need to urinate. I don't feel any other symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, etc. Just a bit of bloating.
Abdomen area feels like a rock from below rib cage to below belly button. pain on and off when i press below belly button. very constipated but diarrhea when some comes out. dehydrated on blood test. normal x ray. not active/had period. 58, 110 lbs?
