Does dermovate help reduce acne/dark/red marks?? i was told that it bleaches the skin somehow.

Not a good idea: Please don't do this. "Dermovate" is clobetasol, a glucocorticoid. It will first suppress, then much exacerbate, acne by suppressing the ability to fight the bacteria. The post-acne red lesions aren't treatable; they're the normal healing of the skin. The pigmented lesions are best left alone; you can make them look worse with bleach. Prevent new lesions by scientific Rx -- ask your physician.
