A doctor has provided 1 answer

Otolaryngologist: I recommend that you consult an otolaryngologist because of continuing throat discomfort. I don't feel that h. Pylori causes that symptom. Possibilities include thyroiditis, carotidynia, mononucleosis, or simply other infection of the pharynx for which cultures will be taken to check for strep.
