A member asked:

Does drinking on anti-depressants lead to less inhibitions and blackouts than just drinking alcohol when not on medicine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More risky: Alcohol can have serious interactions with antidepressants because of combined effects on your central nervous system. Always check with your doctor before consuming alcohol while taking an antidepressant. If you're having blackouts, see your pcp without delay to be checked. Be safe!
