Yes there is.: DON'T DRINK to excess!!!!! Blackouts are an indication that you are drinking more than is healthy, and if you cannot moderate your drinking, it is an even greater indication that you have developed an alcohol use disorder, aka alcoholism. Blackouts are associated with the possibility of later permanent damage to your memory, as well as increasing the chance of accidents&unwanted sexual activity.
