No: Blood tests are not available to test for damage from constipation which can cause diverticulitis which can be see on a CT scan or endoscopy which is typically only done if there is abdominal pain or bleeding

Not really: If this is an ongoing problem, most physicians will check the thyroid; another cause that's not rare and gets missed is porphyria. These labs may be helpful. Actual damage to the gut sufficient to cause constipation will produce obvious illness, an acute abdomen or at least serious pain especially after eating.
