If you touch dried hepatitis c blood could you transfer the virus to other objects such as counter tops and door knobs?

Hepatitis C: Unlikely. Hepatitis c as a virus to infect someone needs to be in fresh blood and introduced to the blood of the un-infected person. Thus it is found in those that share drug paraphernalia or have used these instruments or drugs in their past. Some people get hep c through sexual activity, but again blood must somehow be part of that.
