Why is flecanide prescribed? is it safe?

It is safe usually: IF fleicanide is prescribed for you, it should be prescribed by a cardiologist. It is used for suppressing/treating certain categories of rhythm disorders. The best person to decide whether it is safe is a cardiologist who is trained and certified. But - in answer to your question: is a long standing medication in our arsenal and approved for use for years.
