Hematuria: It is variable. If the stone caused a good deal of irritation to the ureter, red blood cels may be detectable in the urine for days to weeks. Of course, there is always the possibility that there are more stones in the kidneys causing persistent blood in the urine. Have an x-ray or ct to assess for additional stones if not already done.
