Coversyl?: Do you mean Coversyl? Coversyl is not recommended in pregnancy. Some studies have shown that its use in the first trimester is associated with a risk of major congenital malformations, particularly affecting the cardiovascular and central nervous systems. Bisoprolol is a beta blocker and can cause some slow-down in fetal growth but is not associated with birth defects.
