Lump on wrist: More than likely this is a ganglion cyst if you have not had an injury. It may ache but usually does not cause much problems . If this is recent then leave it along and it may go away.

Sounds like: A ganglion, an outgrowth from the wrist joint; quite benign and will not trouble you usually.
