Safe: systemic absorption of bismuth is minimal to start with, although absorption of salicylate portion of the drug is ~ 80 %, its stays in the system for ~ 5 hours, and gets eliminated, safety with breast feeding is questionable, as salicylates gets excreted in breast milk, would you pump first and discard before nursing your baby if you can,
