Hi i was told i have a brain lesion what does this mean will it go away on its own or will it stay there forever is this something to worry about ?

Type of brain lesion: Ask your doctor for copy of brain scan report, what type of lesion do you have? Long list of lesions that show up on brain scan- some are there since birth, acquired from trauma/infection, can be benign. Aside from type of lesion, location also matters. Lastly do you have symptoms related to lesion. These are ?s to ask your doctor.

Depends: Brain lesion is nonspecific. Could be anything, from no significance, to something serious. Need full report and/or further testing.
