Probably not: But canine important in providing support and guidance to your occlusion. A slightly displaced canine now can be a severely displaced canine in the future. As everyone is different you really need to be examined for an informed evaluation. See your Dentist, or preferably a qualified Orthodontic Specialist, to discuss your malocclusion.
