Crushing Pen V K: yes. Pen VK can be crushed. This is not a sustained released medication which should not be crushed. Some Pen VK tablets are scored which helps to break them up. Remember to take your entire prescription as prescribed for the entire course.

It's okay!: While it is not okay to crush slow-release or enteric-coated pills, it is often okay to crush others, like Pen VK. Always double check with your pharmacist though, to be sure since that is the person who knows exactly which formulation of the drug has been used with your prescription.
