Gonorrhea symptoms: ...occur in only half of women with gonorrhea. When they occur (discharge, painful urination, spotting between periods, pelvic pain), they start anywhere from 3 days to several weeks later. You cannot rely on symptoms; you must be treated even before your test result is back. Don't mess around with this; the first symptom can be pain of tubal infection, which can make you sterile. See doctor ASAP.
