Bugs / drugs: Bacteria may develop resistance to antibiotics when they are exposed to non lethal doses over time. Giving antibiotics when not needed (for example to "prevent" infection) promotes resistance among the exposed bugs. Your body does not become "resistant" to antibiotics. It is the bug that is resistant. One should not stop eating good food for fear of a resistant infection.
