Mole removal: inflammation from the healing process would be my guess without looking at it or seeing the biopsy report, Perform a virtual consult with the biopsy report on hand for more help.

Reddish scar: The color depicts immaturity of the scar. The second stage of wound/scar maturation is red colour.
