Hello, i have been getting regular debilitating pains around my left ovary, lower back and side, it is awful and no amount of painkillers help when it comes on, it can last for hours, the last time it came on a week ago the pain was so intense i threw up

Not normal: This is not normal. Prompt evaluation is needed. Left lower quadrant pain has many causes. If the pain is this severe ovarian torsion is one possible cause. The colon is also located there. A pelvic sonogram or CT scan should be considered after a proper exam.
