Why my 2.5 year old wakes up couple of times at night crying and falls back to sleep after?

If he/she is fine: during the day and isn't ill, these could be nightmares or night terrors. Night terrors are very common in children and often the child wakes up crying, but doesn't realize they are awake and then falls back to sleep (like sleep walking and sleep talking). If your child has had a cold, perhaps he/she has an ear infection.Please call your child's doctor to discuss and possibly see.
