Many possibilities: One possibility is a low blood sugar - if you are not a diabetic taking insulin, this can be reactive hypoglycemia. Typically this follows after eating simple carbs on an empty stomach. Rapid rise in blood sugar is met with a big increase in insulin, which then causes a fall in blood sugar. Low blood sugar can cause sweating, headaches and confusion - and even seizures. Resolves after eating.
