HPV: A virus that has many serotypes but a cure in the form of,the vaccine covers the most common ones that cause cancer and genital warts. Antiviral medication does not work for this virus.

The tenacious virus: Unfortunately, this family of viruses(multiple strains)is not killed off by existing anti-virals.It has adapted to humans by developing the ability to hide in your system for life. This is similar to what happens with chickenpox and shingles. This is one germ that a vaccine given before sexual activity starts has the best hope of avoiding a lifetime of problems.
