I was treated for bacterial vaginitis three days ago. can i transfer this by kissing someone who doesn't? and when can you have sex again?

Bacterial vaginosis: ...is overgrowth of mostly normal vaginal bacteria. Not transmitted by kissing; there's no infection in your mouth. BV isn't sexually transmitted to male partners, as far as known. However, sex can trigger BV and some cases may be sexually acquired. To prevent recurrence, hold off on vaginal sex for at least a week and until discharge and odor are gone. Then sex only with condoms for a few weeks.
