Heartburn medication: not PPI, includes TUMS, (very safe, it's just calcium), Maalox, Mylanta, Carafate, (sucralfate) Zantac (ranitidine), Pepcid (famotidine), Tagamet (cimetidine). If you have not been tested for H.pylori, it is important to ensure that you are not infected with H.pylori. If present, it should be treated. H.pylori can result in serious consequences.
