No: It's very unlikely for a person with a healthy heart to have problems with this drug. It's really only a concern for people with heart disease or those taking other meds that affect the heart. 1000mg twice a day is unnecessary and might cause more side effects. The correct dose is 500mg twice a day.

See answer: When your Dom for prescribed the antibiotic I am sure he asked you if you had any allergies to medications. So as long as you kept him informed of any possible medicine allergies you should be fine. And if you do have an issue stop the medication and call your doctor right away

NO: Not unless you have a severe allergy to the "mycin" class of drugs. Clarithromycin is an otherwise safe, effective antibiotic.

Reduce your dose!!: Very unlikely, however if you are taking 1000 mg twice a day that is an excessive dose. Reduce the dose to 500 twice a day and immediately consult your physician to inform he or she. Clarithromycin can cause QT prolongation and may increase the risk of a fatal cardiac rhythm disturbance in patients with bradycardia, CHF,congenital QT prolongation, ^K+ or low Mg, *or on other drugs causing ^QT

Not likely: very unlikely that you will die from that. you can drive yourself crazy, and scare yourself to death by creating all of unnecessary fears. your fear could be an illness that might be addressed by a therapist you are safe you are not going to die from that.
