Wouldn't Hurt.: Must have been some fall. Confused as to why it is swelling at night. Typically injuries cause tissue to swell as stress is applied and reduced with rest and elevation. If you have no pain then you probably do not have a fracture. To remove all doubt, have your foot examined.
