Blood work and abdominal ultrasound are normal. what might be causing my upper right abdomen pain? why is stomach not able to been seen on ultrasound?

The stomach can be: seen on ultrasound but requires special techniques. The reason is due to the gas in the stomach that is usually there interfering with the sound waves of the ultrasound. One might consider a CT to evaluate the right upper abdominal area where the bowel is or other tissues ultrasound might not have seen
