Yes: only very rarely, is a chest wall deformity so severe that it would impair physical performance. These patients do not have any limitations generally.

Yes: I would make sure there is no family history of sudden death and if the father is still alive and I would strongly suggest a echocardiogram of the heart to make sure there is no cardiac issues and I feel that the patient would then be declared medically fit
