A member asked:

I seem to get about 1 sunburn per year even though i always wear sunblock. does this make me high risk for skin cancer or is 1 a year pretty average?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Here's what to do: I'm glad you're aware that you're at a real increased risk. Have somebody (partner, physician) keep a VERY close eye on your skin. Get all suspicious lesions removed. Doing this faithfully is an extremely effective way of preventing death from skin cancer. And keep using your sunscreen.
