Gave myself what i think was a hematoma this morning..hard lump and swollen. area became red though and very warm to touch. could this be infected?

Possibly: What did you do to give yourself a hematoma? Did you break the skin? Hematomas can be hard, swollen, warm and red. However, heat, redness and swelling are also symptoms of cellulitis. If it persists, or you have a fever, or the redness increases, you should see a doctor right away.
