What do beta blockers do for vasovagal? are they required for treatment? afraid to start them. bp is usually 95/70. is this too low? hr usually 50-95

Syncope : Beta blockers are commonly prescribed for vasovagal syncope. However evidence does not support effectiveness, besides if your blood pressure runs low, they may lower it further. Milrinone is a more accepted drug for this , I recommend asking your doctor whether you can use it instead of beta blockers.
