Ate a pretty big slice of watermelon, next day had bowel movement and saw small red pieces in parts of my stool. is the watermelon the cause of this?

Red spots: You would have to ingest a very large amount of watermelon fiber for red objects to appear in the toilet bowl. If there is any doubt that the spots were from blood, your physician can easily test a stool specimen in his office and detect blood. If the test is negative,I would rest assured.
