My throat feels like i have tonsillitis but there is no redness, no inflation and no yellowish spots. what could it be?

Throat infection: There are different degrees of throat infection. Most are caused by a virus, some are caused by bacteria. There could be a various symptoms, and different levels of pain or redness. If there is not fever, redness, or swelling, it probably is not a severe infection.
