It's A Dog's Life: What does a dog do? It lies down in a corner and licks it. Not too appealing.But if the owner notices it, would take it to the vet and the vet might put on a splint. I don't think dogs like to lick velcro. And YOU can go to Rite-Aid and buy a wrist splint and use it for, say, a week or two and garnish it by taking Motrin. And if that fails, then go to your vet..I mean your doc and get an opinion.
