Part of overall diet: First, there has to be as many calories in as used. Body building burns more calories than it seems.. up to an additional 500 per hr. That doesn't have to be in protein. Then... about 1/3rd of calories as protein is certainly enough; could get by with less. so... 2000 calories... 800 in protein.... 4 calories per gram, 200 should be more than enough; you could get by with 100 (a bit low).
